For the price in the area this hotel gets nearly a 5 star. The staff does a good job at keeping it clean and making the most out of it despite the clientele that the price may attract. The people at the Front Desk are kind and friendly and always go above and beyond to help out. Nina is awesome. She made sure that I was satisfied with the room that I got. It is a hit or miss, some people may trash certain rooms and it may take a couple of days for smells to clear up but Nina made sure that I got a room that smelled fresh. The other staff members have always been nice to me too whenever I stay at this location when I visit Pittsburgh. The older man that’s there overnight is awesome too. To be fair, I’ve stayed at other hotels that were a bit more expensive and the quality wasn’t any better. If this hotel renovates its rooms it would be one of the best hotels in the area. I’d definitely recommend if you’re on a budget and are traveling solo.

Danyel made sure that we had a wonderful check-in with everything we needed and great customer service.I requested a first floor which was available and the room was clean and had everything we needed for a two night stay. Everything is in within walking distance or short driving distance of this was the perfect location for a quick overnight stay.

Decent Red Roof, the location is the key here. Near Pittsburgh airport so an early morning flight doest seem so early. My situation was also snow... so much snow flights were delayed & canceled also roads were treacherous.

The staff was amazing. So kind and pleasant. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The service was some of the best I've had in a hotel. I would recommend anyone staying in Pittsburgh to check them out. Amazing prices, too! If you need a great price and friendly service...this is the place to go. Will definitely be back my next trip to the city!

Absolutely wonderful! You truly could not ask for more for the price!! The employees are all kind, the rooms were not the cleanest I have ever stayed in, however, I am truly impressed. Some of these more negative reviews seems to forget where they booked. Is it up to Hilton standards? Likely not, but it never claims to be. You are paying two star hotel rates, have two star expectations. You are safe, sheltered and have ac/heat. The TV has worked well and the internet has been slightly slow, but reliable. The showers are wonderful when it comes to temperature and water pressure. In my opinion, they truly go above and beyond for the price you pay. Would definitely choose again!

Clean room. Nothing fancy. If you need an economical hotel, it works. I was happy it was clean and the room was serviced. I just upped my stars on this as I just remembered my son left his iPad in the room, and it was there when we returned. I know I just upped the service because the room cleaners did their job honestly, but hey that counts. I do not suggest just leaving valuable electronics around, but hey I am happy

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were kind, and respectful. The rooms was beautifully clean. It was a wonderful stay. The free crib was actually just a pack and play, but we understand the economics and functionality of that decision. However, pack and plays are significantly harder to clean, and as a result the one we received had milk stains. We decided not to use it this time, and in the future we will bring some extra blankets to lay down on it for comfort and cleanliness. We will be staying here again!
